Our Shop
Our shop in Great Marlborough Street lies in the heart of London's West End, a few minutes walk from Oxford Circus underground station and directly opposite the rear entrance of the Marks & Spencer Pantheon store. Our stock includes more than 55,000 books, CDs, cassettes, DVDs and software packages in more than 150 languages. All our staff are fluent in at least two languages and have a wide knowledge of their specialist areas.
We have extensive selections in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Russian. This material includes coursebooks, self-study material, dictionaries, classic and modern literature, bestsellers, translations, historical and political works, travel guides, children's books, games and films.
We hold dictionaries, language learning material, novels and literature in languages including Albanian, Arabic, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Japanese, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Serbian, Slovene, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian.
We stock language-learning material and dictionaries in more than 120 other languages, including those of Africa, India and the Orient. We list some of them below.
Our stock of world cinema on DVD covers more than 30 languages.
We have a small selection of books for foreign nationals wanting to learn English.
